The USC chapter
We are a student chapter of a global network that has worked with thousands of socially conscious organizations. Each semester our consultants are placed teams working with real clients to solve real problems affecting our communities both locally here in Los Angeles and globally.
Projects involve a variety of strategy, data, operations, and growth work. Our members come from a diverse set of majors, backgrounds, and experiences, but with a shared passion for social impact.
- Who can apply
- Any USC student with a @usc.edu email address.
- How many we take
- We typically welcome 8–15 new members each fall and spring depending on our project needs.
- Time commitment
- About 10 hours a week during an active project, including team meetings.
- Prior experience
- No consulting experience is required, and we provide resources to applicants at each stage of the process.
How recruiting works
Five stages. Dates for each one appear in your application once you sign in.
Apply with written application
A short written application to understand your background and interests. You can save a draft and come back before the deadline.
First round behavioral interview
A 30-minute conversation with two members to learn more about you and your experiences.
Second round group case
A 2-hour group case with 3 other applicants to see how you work in a team and solve problems together.
